Carrying over the tradition of naming menu items after streets in the neighborhood, Rebecca and Simone Totti decided to take this tradition one step further and name the establishment “La Strada”, meaning “The Street” in Italian.
It was felt that this name perfectly reflected the neighborhood feeling of Italy , which contains many small neighborhoods similar to the Brentwood Village , as well as being famous for the many little streets that invite one to explore them.
La Strada continues to name its traditional menu items after streets in the Brentwood neighborhood, and all Italian items are named after streets in Rome, the city in which Simone was born.
