La Strada was selected to cater the star of popular TV show, "My Name is Earl", Jamie Pressley's baby shower this past March, 2007. Jamie, a fan of southern food, requested an array of small bites with a southern twist to serve to the shower guests. La Strada, although primarily known as catering Italian food, rose to the occasion and created a menu of several appetizers which included: lollypop chicken that could be dipped in either a chutney or a Cajun sauce, appetizer-sized skewers of grilled shrimps and mango, bite-size mini grilled cheese sandwiches, and mini red potatoes which were hollowed out and filled with potato salad. The event was covered by E! Network and broadcasted in March, 2007 as well as receiving coverage in US Weekly magazine during the same month.

| February 2007 - Wedding In A Week - HGTV |
After auditioning for the HGTV special, "Wedding In A Week", La Strada was selected among many restaurants in the LA area to cater a 3 course meal for the wedding highlighted in the TV show. The TV special was based on the premise of creating a beautiful wedding in only a week. La Strada was given the same time frame to create a delicious menu for the big event. On the menu were two appetizers: a chilled soup served in shot glasses and hot potato nests of filet mignon topped with lemon aioli. The first course consisted of La Strada's wildly popular "Caprese Pasta" and the second course of medallions of chicken breast stuffed with prosciutto, sage and fontina, accompanied by truffle mashed potatoes and sautéed green beans. The pasta, as usual, was a particular favorite and the entire meal and overall success! The one hour special is set to air around the end of 2007 on HGTV.
